MISSION
The primary purpose of Greater Works Bible College and Theological Seminary (GWBC&TS) is to train and equip kingdom leaders for the greater work that Jesus Christ declared that His disciples would do (John 14:12). GWBC&TS is dedicated to providing students with a quality and affordable educational experience in order to be more effective in Christian service and challenged to reach the world for the cause of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is our mission to develop passionate, God-seeking, God-serving, disciple-making ministers of Jesus Christ who are filled with God’s Holy Spirit and who are dedicated to modeling and teaching the Word of God, the ways of God and the will of God, all through the power of God.
LEGAL STATUS
Greater Works Bible College and Theological Seminary was created by Dr. Angelene Brinkley, and is an affiliate school of International College of Bible Theology (ICBT) and Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology (MSBT), a not-for-profit evangelical religious organization founded in 1990 and is an organization operating under foreign corporate statusin the State of Missouri and is authorized to grant religious/theological diplomas and degrees.


ACCREDITATION
Greater Works Bible College and Theological Seminary is an affiliate of International College of Bible Theology which is accredited by ACT, a private non-governmental agency and is not regionally accredited. ACI has not sought U.S. Department of Education recognition at this time nor does ACI guarantee the acceptance of academic credit by colleges and universities or other Bible Schools.
NOTICE OF EXEMPTION
1. Exemption Statement:
Degree programs of study offered by Greater Works Bible College and Theological Seminary have been declared exempt from the requirements for licensure, under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes Section (G.S.) 116-15 (d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards.
2. Student Complaints:
The State Authorization Unit of the University of North Carolina System Office serves as the official state entity to receive complaints concerning post-secondary institutions that are authorized to operate in North Carolina. If students are unable to resolve a complaint through the institution’s grievance procedures, they can review the Student Complaint Policy (PDF) and submit their complaint using the online complaint form at https://studentcomplaints.northcarolina.edu/form.
